I was teaching him the basics of modeling (at least, according to what I have learned from my doing it).
"Be aware of the light and shadows. This is very important. Use them to your advantage," I told him.
"Be aware of how your body is oriented and be mindful of your silhouette."
"What do you mean?" he asked.
"Do not just stand there with a weapon!" I barked at him. "Tell me a story!"
He relaxed his pose a bit and varied his stance, with his hips just slightly moving to one side. "Is this
fine?"
"Almost," I said, pressing the shutter on the camera.
And then he did something. His fist clenched over a full magazine, his arms no longer plastered to his
side in a modified attention, and his elbows slightly bent inward. He grinned.
"Perfect!" I screamed back at him as soon as the shutter clicked.
